The Hunchback of Notre Dame!

To promote anti-bullying week Mrs Brady kindly organised for the children to watch the amazing performance of ‘The Hunchback of Notre Dame’.

Here are some quotes from Team 10:

“The performance of Hunchback of Notre-Dame taught me to not judge a book by its cover because its what’s inside that matters”

“It was really exciting! The actors and the whole performance was very funny”

“Think before you speak! It’s important to always be kind, considerate and thoughtful. Treat people how you would like to be treated yourself”

Team 10 Boggarts!

Team 10 were extremely lucky to have a special visit yesterday!

The writers of the Boggart books came to our class yesterday and shared their amazing books with us!

As a team we created our very own team boggart!

Thank you to Mr Garvey for organising this special event for us! We really enjoyed ourselves!

Manchester City in the community!

Thank you so much to Tom for coming into Team 10 and promoting disability awareness!

We have learnt so much about a variety of disabilities and sports!

Tom provided us with clear explanations of the different types of disabilities and gave the children valuable experiences of how disabilities are incorporated into different sports!

Robin Wood!

Wow!

What an amazing time we had at Robin Wood this week!

The year 5 children have thoroughly enjoyed their trip this week! We were privileged to have been able to try a range of wonderful and exciting activities! For example, the trapeze, the zip wires and rock climbing!

The children’s team skills have improved massively over the course of the week and it was lovely to be able to watch you develop such a crucial skill that will help you in all areas of your lives!

Well done Team 9 and Team 10 you have made me very proud this week!

“I loved Robin Wood because it helps you to work with different people and I saw a big improvement in my own team work over the three days! My favourite activities were the trapeze and the challenge course!”- Ben Whiteley

“Robin Wood was an amazing experience because it teaches you different things that you wouldn’t be able to learn in school! The activities needed us to use team work and these skills will help us in school!”- Lexi Robinson
